My wife and I stayed at the San Carlos hotel this month and we were extremely pleased with the service we received from door man to the maid service. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The location is close to Rockefeller center and convenient for subway and bus transportation. Great amenities including free Continental breakfast free WiFi, gym and business center.
All of the above plus i can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff treated us during our stay. Also we arrived early from the west coast and didn't expect to be able to check in till around 3pm, but to our surprise the room was available and we were able to check in which was great after traveling on the red eye.
There is some noise from building construction next door but its limited only during the day.
